white christmas in compton…

thursday morning los angeles news showed areas of compton and wildwood that had HAIL ACUMULATIONS THREE FEET DEEP!!!!

Thousands more people were also left without power in Los Angeles, where hail up to 6 inches deep remained on the ground Thursday in the Watts, South Gate and Compton neighborhoods a day after a separate freak storm. At one point, the storm dropped 5 inches of rain and hail in under two hours.
The fast-flowing water turned some streets to rivers Wednesday night, and more than 100 motorists and pedestrians were rescued from waist-deep water.
The last time more rain was recorded in a 24-hour period in downtown Los Angeles was in 1934, when more than 7 inches fell.
Juan Diaz, 26, said the flooding had disabled most cars on his block, including his own. ‘This morning when I tried to start it, water was coming out the exhaust pipe,’ he said. ‘The car has water instead of oil.
