the truck update

well after the stuff had been dialed in and the carb tuned to the intake and the timing set i am pleased to say that i am stunned with the achieved performance.  at an idle roll i can lite up both rear 255’s for forty feet.  From a dead stop it will spin the tires all the way through first and then a few moments after it shidts into 2nd, thats roughly about a 100’ burnout.  so i must say i am second thinking the cam.  based on the performance, the weight of the truck - id say that it was making about 300-315 hp the changes are VERY noticable.  soooo, next up either the cam, or bags and interior.  My ideas for the interior are pretty grand.  since the c-10’s fuel tank is located right behind the seat i am planning on taking that out, installing a plastic (pvc) 20 gallon fuel cell just behind the rear axle and an electric pump, new plumbing, etc.  The air bag tank will be located in the same area as i will building a supportive structure for both.  The interior seating will be transformed to bucket style seates, with a console coming from the rear of the truck forward into the trans plate and up to the dash.  this will provide an excellent enclosure for a subwoofer and some controlling equipment ie electric widow controls, bag system controlls and show lighting controls.
