I’m doing my part to stop unsolicited mail.

Are you?

I’m mad as hell!  Can’t you tell?

I received an email many many months ago that had been forwarded many times.  This email proposed a solution to junk (snail) mail senders.  The idea proposed that you stuff all of their crap the postage paid envelope that the senders gives you.  Once the senders start realize that they are paying for postage in both directions from millions of recipients, they might start being a little more conservative with their solicitations.

This week I stuffed three envelopes from Capital One, AT&T, and Bank One back into their self addressed postage paid envelopes and sent them back.

I only hope that the company doesn’t activate the preapproved applications that they sent me!

I’ll report back what, if any, response I get.
