Friends of mine do well.

Kim is the CEO of “Boys Who d.a.r.e” and Atlanta based organization.  Check the link on the right side.

Team, a while back, we recognized one of our own - Kim Boykin - for being nominated as one of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Metro Atlanta Chapter’s Unsung Heroine.  The Unsung Heroine Award is a prestigious award given by the prominent business organization at its annual gala.  Nominations for the award were submitted by churches, civic organizations and individuals and selected by an independent panel of judges.  Winners were chosen based upon the number of hours donated and the impact of their service to our community.

Kim - our own team member - is among the select few to receive the prestigious Unsung Heroine Award by the organization on this Saturday, August 21, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel.  Kim is most deserving of this honor for her creation of and dedicated to the Boys Who Dare to Read program.  Kim’s program has received tremendous recognition for improving the reading skills of young boys in our community.  The Living section of today’s Atlanta Journal Constitution features an article on the Unsung Heroines.

Team, Kim deserves your applause.  Congratulations, Kim!  We are very proud of and happy for you.
