Everything is ok.

The day started off warm and then gradually progressed to cool and then chilly.  Now it is warm again.  We are all in the Hotel Ariosto in Miraflores, Peru.  Miraflores is a district of the capital city of Lima.  We are just about one mile from the Pacific ocean at an altitude of approximately 500m.

Big Red and I had our shoes shined.  We all enjoyed the Peruvian milk confections overlooking the Pacific ocean.  Momma had a Gelato. Little momma has nothing.  Breakfast was swell ...er, I mean swollen.  It was sooo large and now Big Red wants to eat again.

For dinner tonight, we will all try one of the Peruvian national dishes, Ceviche.  Ceviche is a seafood dish cooked with lemon and lime juices instead of heat.  I love it.

Tomorrow we travel to Nazca which will be a nearly seven hour bus trip into the southern desert region.  The area is known for the “Nazca Lines” which were “discovered” by a pilot flying over the region many years ago. Click here for some images of the Nazca Lines.

Our stay is Nazca will be about two days after which we travel to Arequipa.

Well check back in as we can.  Luckily, our current hotel has an excellent (free) internet connection.

Let me see if I have any new customers.
