A Voice Vote?

I heard that when the senators “passed” the $87,000,000,000.00 “for” Iraq, they voted by voice.  Which means that they aren’t officially on the ballot as having voted for the proposal.  I also heard that there were only FIVE senators that actually appeared in person to vote for the appropriations.  There was ONE tha appeared on record to vote against it.

We should applaud each of these senators for having the strength to stand up and be counted.  Although, I disagree with the vote, I am proud that these guys were proud enough place their name with their vote.
