KANYE WEST Rippin it up out in the IE west coast.  His cut “Jesus Walks” Is smokin the beat in sunny Cal.

With an invincible drive, ROC-A-FELLA’s finest new family member Kanye West reveals how his pathway to an accomplished life, love, and success are critical to the glory of his victory. Kanye West, a 26-year old Chicago native is on his way to staking a solid claim as one of hip-hop’s elite. He is the new sound, style and culture of today’s hip-hop. Blessed with a creative passion set aside for a chosen few. The producer/rapper has a gift so powerfully instinctive that it is as natural to him as the air he breathes. Kanye exudes this gift through his being and becomes it. This is the intensity for which he reveres his emotion for life; the people in his corner, and of course his music.

since when do politics and music intermingle

The belly-baring pop star is being courted to attend the Republican convention in New York next week, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, and that has sparked outrage among some conservative groups.

“Through her immature antics, Spears has probably done more to undermine sexual morality than all the misguided legislation introduced in the United States over the last decade,” the Illinois Family Institute wrote in an e-mail to members. “It would be the height of hypocrisy for a party that claims to represent wholesome values to celebrate her.”

you reap what you sow

-- Sen. John Kerry....."Of course, the president keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: ‘Bring it on.’”

Poor Johnny you just don’t understand that, as usual, you have it wrong. You don’t have a beef with President George Bush about your war record. He’s been exceedingly generous about your military service. Your complaint is with the 2.5 million of us who served honorably in a war that ended 29 years ago and which you, not the president, made the centerpiece of this campaign.

I talk to a lot of vets, John, and this really isn’t about your medals or how you got them. Like you, I have a Silver Star and a Bronze Star. I only have two Purple Hearts, though. I turned down the others so that I could stay with the Marines in my rifle platoon. But I think you might agree with me, though I’ve never heard you say it, that the officers always got more medals than they earned and the youngsters we led never got as many medals as they deserved.
